There is a sound being brought to America in the genre of very conscious adult Christian music. It is very contemporary and its focus is not on simple repetitions, but on real life issues, against the back drop of very tasteful musical accompaniments.

Though Sterling is new to America, he is not new to the world of music. Between 1997 and 1999 he made appearances on Caribbean and French television then he migrated to America 2000.

Sterling is undaunted by the greatest collection of talent in the universe, and facing tremendous obstacles and stereotypes. Sterling is determined to reach out and touch the end of the garment of God through his music.
Born on the island of Trinidad in the Caribbean, Sterling brings to America his wife Deborah and seven kids and the rich culture of Caribbean sounds and rhythm. I think gospel and Christian contemporary music need this sort of inspiration

He is also the founder of Youth Pulse. Youth Pulse was a program which served over 200 youths that started in 1993. It used music to influence and stimulate children’s interest in education and spark the light that would help their interest in education

His debut album is called “Change of Heart” and features twelve tracks

Sterling has won numerous Caribbean music awards and an ASCAP award.
